Day 01
Leave for Yala National Park early in the morning . Lunch at Tissamaharama. After lunch leave for Yala National Park by jeep.
Yala national park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. It is situated in the southeast region of the country and covers nearly 980 square kilo meters. The area around Yala has hosted several ancient civilizations. Two important pilgrim sites Sithulpahuwa and Magul Vihara are situated within the park. Yala is one of the important Bird Areas in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan elephant and 44 species of mammals are resident in Yala National Park. The sri Lankan sloth bear, leopard , wild water buffalo elephants and other wild animals are to be seen in Yala.
Dinner and overnight stay at Tissamaharama.

Day 02
After an early breakfast visit Bundala bird sanctuary.
Bundala National Park is an internationally important wintering ground for migratory water birds in Sri Lanka. Bundala became the first site in Sri Lanka to be designated a Ramsar wetland in 2005. It has been identified as an important bird area in the Sri Lankan wetlands.
Proceed to Galle. Visit Wevurukannala Temple.
The temple has three parts, the oldest being about 250 years old, the next part has life size models of demons and sinners shown in graphic detail. Finally there is he enormous seated Buddha that is as high as an eight storied building.
Lunch at Galle.
After lunch visit Galle Dutch Fort.
Extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. It is an historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument which even after more than 450 years maintains an excellent appearance.
Return to respective hotel.
